The CrystalPro™ 2 represents the 2nd generation of CrystalPro™ protein crystal imaging system. This design incorporates an unconventional optical design that yields unsurpassed image depth of focus and resolution when coupled with TriTek's patented protein crystal illumination design. The system is designed with the flexibility to use today's cameras, or any of the new high-resolution cameras that are becoming the new standard for microscopy. As camera technology continues to improve, the CrystalPro™ is positioned to exploit the improved performance of these future generations of cameras.

The CrystalPro™ INV design is optimized for SBS (Art Robbins, Corning, Fluidigm, Greiner) and Terasaki (Douglas, Nunc) format crystallization trays. The CrystalPro™ INV consists of a state-of-the-art robotic microscope, precision motorized stage, motorized sub-micron resolution focus, cold-light illumination system with a patented optical configuration, optional rotating and retractable polarizing filter, high-resolution digital color camera, a current generation personal computer, and CrystalLIMS™ (TriTek-developed database software to provide advanced image analysis and information management).
